With more than 32 years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable resolution and management, Shannon is responsible for leading daily processes to ensure maximum reimbursement and timely resolution to outstanding AR, while enhancing Days Sales Outstanding. She works directly with payers on a daily basis with her team to resolve issues identified during claim resolution in an effort to eliminate potential future issues. In addition, she is actively involved in the monitoring of new client’s claim submission during the critical go-live processes to guarantee successful startup with accuracy, completeness and minimized payer issues.
Prior to founding RC Billing, Ron DiGiaimo worked as an executive with the three largest publicly traded oncology firms in the United States in executive positions that addressed operations management and nationwide reimbursement for the largest publicly traded oncology firm in the world. Recognizing a need for a “best of the best” practice reimbursement firm, he put together a team with an average of more than 30 years of diverse healthcare administration management experience.
Today, as the CEO of RC Billing and its two sister companies, The Oncology Group & Revenue Cycle Coding Strategies, DiGiaimo prides himself on incorporating strong ethics and integrity into each client engagement. DiGiaimo is active in many industry associations including ACRO, ASTRO, SROA, ACCC, ACE, AAMD, ASCO, and ACHE among others and can frequently be found speaking at their national conferences on the business aspects of cancer care. DiGiaimo earned an MBA from Oklahoma Christian University and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from Weber State University. Ron is also a past Radiation Therapist and has an Associate’s Degree in Radiography from MCC. With a clinical background in patient treatments, simulations, and day-to-day operations of cancer centers, Catherine now oversees the financial division of RC Billing. Prior to co-founding RC Billing, she attended the University of Texas School of Business and the University of Cincinnati Raymond Walters College Radiation Therapy Program. Catherine has been a registered radiation therapist for 25 years and is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Danielle brings more than 12 years of experience within the healthcare billing cycle, including 9 years of Medical and Radiation Oncology expertise. Her specialties include practice management, patient registration and entry of charges to payment posting and accounts receivable. She has outstanding organization skills and is passionate about helping others in both a professional and personal environment. Danielle currently works closely with clients and manages a team to ensure client charges are handled with accuracy and attention to detail. After spending the majority of her career as Chief Radiation Therapist/Dosimetrist for a large oncology practice in Austin, Texas, Trina, joined the Radiation Therapy Program faculty of Texas State University as a clinical educator. Today, she continues to share her knowledge and experience as Client Resource Manager for RC Billing where she provides billing and documentation guidance for clients and works closely with the proton appeals department to identify clinical information and articles to support medical necessity. |
