Are Radiation Oncology Services Covered in an Ambulatory
Surgical Center (ASC)?

Yes, certain radiation oncology services are covered in an ASC as long as they are performed ancillary to a covered surgical procedure. The list of covered surgical procedures for ASCs can be found on the CMS website and is labeled Addenda AA. The list of covered ancillary services is labeled Addenda BB. Click on the link provided below to be directed to Addendums AA and BB.
