Medicare Administrative Contractor Update

Jurisdiction -- 3 Arizona, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming
Was awarded to Noridian Administrative Services on July 31, 2006. Noridian is now fully implemented as the MAC for Jurisdiction 3.

Jurisdiction -- 4 Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas
Was awarded to TrailBlazer Health Enterprises on August 3, 2007. CMS anticipates the TrailBlazers will assume full responsibilities for the work no later than Spring 2008 with the final segment to begin June 16, 2008.

Jurisdiction -- 5 Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska
Was awarded to Wisconsin Physicians Health Insurance Corporation on September 4, 2007. CMS anticipates that WPS will assume full responsibilities for the work no later than September 2008.

Jurisdiction -- 12 Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania
Was awarded to Highmark Medicare Services on October 24, 2007. CMS anticipates that HMS will assume full responsibilities for the work by the end of 2008.

Jurisdiction -- 1 American Samoa, California, Guan, Hawaii, Nevada and Northern Mariana Islands
Was awarded to Palmetto GBA on October 25, 2007. CMS anticipates that Palmetto will assume full responsibilities for the work no later than October 1, 2008.

Jurisdiction -- 13 Connecticut and New York
Was awarded to National Government Services on March 18, 2008. CMS anticipates the NGS will assume full responsibilities for the work no later than November 2008.
